As the founder of HummingbirdHR, I stand on the shoulders of those who paved the way before me, with my grandmother at the heart of this legacy. A successful Black woman in business from the 1950s through the 1990s, she was a trailblazer who defied the odds and taught me the values of perseverance, resilience, and the importance of embracing individuals’ unique paths to foster their growth.

Her journey, combined with a family legacy rooted in leadership and service, has profoundly shaped my passion for creating safe spaces where people and organizations can truly thrive.
